Our Mission Statement states, "Drawing
people to Jesus Christ in a relevant way so as to make fully devoted followers
in Him;" to do so we seek to proclaim the message of the cross, through
the whole counsel of God's Word, establishing meaningful relationships
with people in order to help encourage spiritual growth. As you look through the

Meet Our Staff

Pastor Daniel Cormier - Senior Pastor
Pastor Daniel Cormier was born on Vancouver Island, BC. He studied at Prairie Bible
Institute in Alberta, where he completed a Bachelor of Ministry degree in 1998. He
then accepted a call to pastor the Brookfield United Baptist Church (1998-2003)
in Brookfield, NS. Upon completion of further studies at Acadia Divinity College
and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he was ordained on Jan. 26th, 2003. He
then served on staff at New Minas Baptist Church in Nova Scotia as Church Family
Life Pastor (2003-2006). Pastor Daniel began his ministry as Senior Pastor here
at Newcastle United Baptist Church in August
2006.
Daniel has been married to Gina since May 24th 1985, and they have
four children,
Bethany, Caleb, Rachel and Anna.

Mrs. Pamela Tozer - Director of Children's
Ministries
Pamela Tozer was born and
raised in
Miramichi, NB. She studied at Briercrest Bible College
in Caronport, Saskatchewan (1989-90). She has recently
re-enrolled to obtain her Associate of Arts in Christian Studies Degree.
She accepted a call to serve as Director of Children’s Ministries here at
NUBC in November 2007. Pamela joyfully
uses her music gifts and love for children to create a safe and fun place for
them to learn about God. She is also a great encourager in drawing others
into, and equipping them for, the joy of serving in children's ministry. We
are blessed to have her on staff.
Pamela has been married to Lehman since July 10, 1992 and
they have four children, Katelyn, Jordan, Alex and Isaac.

Mrs. Kathy Maltby - Office Administrator
Kathy Maltby was the manager of a retail store for 14 years before joining
our team in April of 2007. She has lived most of her life in the beautiful
Miramichi. Kathy truly has a servant's heart. Her enthusiastic love for God, her
family, church, and others is evident in all she does. Kathy and her
husband Rob have two young girls, Eden and Kate.

Jerry Dunnett - Custodian
Jerry Dunnett has been the church custodian for many years.
He has a cheerful heart
and a desire to serve the Lord. Jerry is an integral part of our team.
Jerry has been married to Barb and they have 3 children, Clint, Curt and Joshua.
